Yellow

Inner sanctum: I return to the medieval castle in Buda as often as I can, with my camera. Somehow on this day I was lucky to go through a door (well, I tried the handle and it wasn’t locked!) and found a plain, undecorated stone circular stairway. I went as high as I could until reaching this door at the top. It was yellow with age; not with paint.

Fireside tulip: I call it that because it warmed me to get so close to its pure yellow center.

Pest: ice cream …. Flowers are my favorite photo subject, but this is to show that I like other things too!

Narcissus center: This was growing next to the banks of the Lake Balaton in Hungary.

Sunflowers! The fields are everywhere.

These pictures are just fantanstic! Great picture of the door, and I really like the angle.

Your macros are so close up. What kind of a lense are you using? I have two lenses with macro capabilities, but neither one can get that close to something. Those inside pictures of the flowers are so beautiful, and I would like to try to take some.
